Tell Tale Signs of a Rodent Infestation

Have you ever been sitting at home, minding your own business and then caught a movement out of the corner of your eye? Did that movement turn out to be a mouse scurrying across your floor? Rodents love finding a warm home to nest in during the winter months, so it is wise to keep an eye out for these tell tale signs of a potential rodent infestation:

Rodent droppings appear as some brown pellets the size of a grain of rice. If you find them in your home it is a sign that mice or rats are nesting and feeding in your home.
Rodents will use almost anything as nesting materials. They will use paper, fabric, even plants to build ball shaped nests. Look for unusual clumps of materials behind refrigerators or in warm corners of your basement.
Rodents will need an entry point in your home and will chew through walls and floors. Look for potential holes where the floor meets the wall - they may only be a few inches - a mouse can fit through a hole the size of a dime.
