Don't Collect Cardboard - Many of us are in the habit of flattening cardboard packaging and saving it in the basement or garage until we take it away for recycling. However, cardboard is very attractive to rodents who love to chew it up for use in their nests. Take your cardboard recycling away regularly or at least keep it in a sealed plastic bin to avoid attracting rodents.

Seal Up Openings - Rodents have a unique physiology that allows them to squeeze themselves through the tiniest of gaps! Holes that appear far too small for them are barely a challenge! It is important to seal up any such holes around your property to stop rodents from gaining entry.
